Terms and Conditions

GENERAL
Payment in full is required in advance of attending an Alphabetic Order class, lecture, workshop, meetup or any other event (hereafter referred to as classes).

Cancellations For cancellations made seven or more days prior the registered class, Alphabetic Order will refund Registrants the full amount minus a $25 administrative fee. For cancellations made within seven days of a class, Alphabetic Order will issue a 50% refund and offer a 25% credit toward another class scheduled to take place within one year of the initial registration. The 25% credit is non-transferable. :: If you purchased your class on CourseHorse, then our cancellation policy applies to your purchase. Transfers Alphabetic Order allows for a one-time transfer of your registration to another individual. Please notify Alphabetic Order at your earliest convenience if you are planning to transfer your registration.

Rescheduled Classes Alphabetic Order reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a class that does not meet minimum registration levels; or in the event of illness or other adverse circumstances. Paid registrants will be notified by Alphabetic Order regarding a rescheduled or cancelled class at the earliest possible date; and will be given first priority for rescheduled, new or alternate classes. Full refunds will be made available by Alphabetic Order to individuals who prefer not to attend a rescheduled or alternate class. Alphabetic Order is not responsible for any costs incurred as a result of a cancelled or rescheduled classes.

PRICING
Student Pricing Special pricing is made available to students actively enrolled in 12 or more units (or equivalent). A photo ID and proof of enrollment will be requested after you register for a class. :: If you are a student taking fewer than 12 units; have graduated recently; are an instructor; or have other circumstances that require special consideration, please contact us to discuss them.

Institutional Pricing If you represent a business, school or other association and are interested in registering three or more staff members for an Alphabetic Order class, contact us in advance to receive a Group Discount code.

Standby List Contact us if you would like to be added to the reserve list for an already full class. We will notify you if a seat becomes available (before we offer it to the general public). We ask that you RSVP promptly to our notification. If we do not receive your RSVP within four hours, we reserve the right to notify the next person on the standby list. The seat will go to the first person to register for the class.

LEGAL
Photo Release By attending an Alphabetic Order class, and unless you indicate otherwise in advance in writing, you agree to allow Alphabetic Order to use your photographic likeness, and images of work you produce in class, in all forms and media for advertising, trade and any other lawful purposes.

Recordings By registering for an Alphabetic Order class, you agree not to record or share audio or video of any portion of the class.

Privacy Alphabetic Order complies with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We will therefore not distribute your personal information, regardless of where you are located, to outside parties without your consent.

Release of Liability By registering for or attending an Alphabetic Order class, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alphabetic Order, its employees, agents and contractors from any loss, liability, damage or costs, including court costs and attorney fees, that they may incur due to my participation in any Alphabetic Order class or activity, whether caused by negligence of Alphabetic Order or otherwise. I further agree to release, acquit, and covenant not to sue Alphabetic Order, its employees, agents or contractors for any and all actions, causes of action claims, or damages as well as damages in law, or remedies in equity of whatever kind resulting from negligence.
